What webcasting can do for you and your students
Webcasting offers a smart method to use multimedia material such as sound, video and slides in your education material. Using simple equipment such as a camcorder and powerpoint you can enhance your classes with exciting media. The only limitation is your own imagination. And you may also give your students the same options in their projects.

Global TV
A nice feature of webcasting is that it works in live broadcasting. This basically means that you can have your own TV-channel! And a global channel at that. You may broadcast your classes and presentations to students in India. Or to students a couple of blocks away.
The students participate using internet connection to their own computer. You can still teach your class in a regular classroom, while webcasting allows you to have distant students participating live over internet. Your webcast participants can see and hear you with video, while taking part of education material, which may be powerpoint slides, word documents or other formats. Participants can answer your question as well as ask questions themselves.
No code, just content
Things have changed radically the past few years. Previously you would need solid training in creating web pages and writing scripts. This is no longer true. With a software like Webocaster you can do all of this without writing a single line of code. Finally you can concentrate all your efforts on content and presentation.
