FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Stockholm, Sweden, Feb 19, 2003 Abiliteam
releases crisp & clear Webcasting
Webocaster features rich media powerpoint presentations
with an unprecedented graphic quality - even on very small
screens.
Abiliteam (formerly Eonware) announces new presentation
features in their latest release of its popular Webcasting system.
The system renders rich media webcasting with an unprecedented
graphic quality - even on very small screens.
Webcasting
Powerpoint slides with lots of details and small typefaces are
problematic for most webcasting systems. And the problems get even
worse when the presentation is scaled to fit smaller screen.
"Normally, webcasting systems convert the slides into JPG of
GIF files and in this process the small typefaces lose their
clarity. Tables and numbers become hard to read, unless you use very
large text.", says Richard Zembron, System Architect at Abiliteam
Software. Webocaster however solves this by offering HTML powered,
resizable presentations. The producer can now choose between HTML
and JPG slides and make the entire presentation resizable with a
simple mouse click.
Some of the other features of Webocaster
include: > Large library of professionally designed
layouts. > Advanced viewer interaction features (Video/slide
control, Voting, polling, chat, email) > Rich media support
(Powerpoint, Excel, Flash, HTML, GIF, JPG, text, database
queries) > Security features, multiple user names and
passwords
The system allows you to do live and on demand
webcasting in Windows Media, Real Media and Quicktime, and is
available for Linux and Windows platforms.
